🟡 Amazon is launching an NFT marketplace
Amazon's upcoming launch of its NFT marketplace is generating buzz in the digital collectibles world. On April 24th, the marketplace will be directly integrated into Amazon's website under a new tab called "Amazon Digital Market." Although the marketplace will initially only be available to customers in the United States and feature 15 NFT collections, this move is expected to expose the world of NFTs to Amazon's massive customer base of over 310 million people.
While some NFT marketplaces require cryptocurrency as payment, Amazon's marketplace will only accept credit card payments. This accessibility and ease of use is likely to attract customers who may be new to the world of digital collectibles.
Overall, this move by Amazon is a significant step forward for the NFT industry, and it will be interesting to see how it shapes the future of digital asset trading.

🟡 Yuga Labs raised $16.5M auctioning Bitcoin NFTs
As we talked about in a previous edition of the newsletter, Bitcoin NFTs are on the rise. And Yuga Labs, the parent company behind BAYC, couldn’t pass on the opportunity to leave their footprint on the golden blockchain.
That’s why they decided to release TwelveFold, an original and experimental 300-piece generative art collection. 288 pieces were auctioned earlier this week and raised a total of $16.5 million for Yuga Labs.
🔵 Tensor raised $3M in their seed round
With Solana founders Anatoly Yakovenko and Raj Gokal, HGE, Big Brain Holdings or Solana Ventures among others as investors, Tensor, the Solana NFT marketplace has raised $3M in their seed round
With a slick UI/UX and airdrop incentives for traders, Tensor is already grabbing 20% of Solana’s NFT trading volume on a 24h basis. Could they be the Magic Eden killers?

🟢 DeLabs is hiring
Are you looking for a Web3 job? Keep reading.
DeLabs, the parent company of DeGods and y00ts, is now hiring. Chief Operations Officer, Director of Growth, Senior Graphic Designer and Director of Member Experience. These are the positions that have been made available at DeLabs to complete their roster.
After building both projects for months with a core team of 5 people, DeLabs is finally hiring again. Not long ago, we heard how they were struggling and had to lay off several people from the team, but after receiving a $3M grant from the Polygon Foundation, it seems like DeLab’s problems have disappeared and they now are growing their team size
🟢 SMB drama
Week after week, we have news and drama about SMB. So what happened last week?
HadesDAO is on fire and we have seen proposals going left and right about SMB. The first proposal, initiated by TheOnlyNom, was to try to buy out the project. The offer was 5 SMBs, 50% of SMB Gen2 Royalties until March 31st, 2026, and $100,000 USDC.
As you can imagine, this proposal was rejected by the majority of HADES’ tokens. I don’t say holders because most of the governance is owned by Lt. Lollipop, who holds over 109k $HADES and is heavily influencing the votes made by HadesDAO.
Using his power over HadesDAO, Lt. Lollipop decided to put up a vote about reminting the first monke that he burned, the one that made him famous
However, most of the HADES holders were against the proposal and it didn’t pass
And what did Lt. Lollipop do? Give up? HA! He submitted the same proposal again
And this time, ‘Yes’ was winning. However, one hour before the vote ended, Lt. Lollipop canceled it, as he just wanted to prove a point about decentralized governance and wasn’t actually interested in re-minting the NFT
We also saw a joined communication from MonkeDAO and SMB saying that they are working together for the benefit of the project
Aaaand, we also had a vote on MonkeDAO about the “Monke” collection. It probably didn’t please many SMB holders, as we saw an aggressive sell-off of the NFTs
